1、Poultry plague

In recent years, the occurrence and prevalence of plague has become an important factor hindering the rapid development of China's livestock and poultry farming industry, and livestock and poultry viral diseases are one of the important factors limiting the development of the farming industry, causing huge economic losses to the livestock and poultry farming industry.

Prevention methods: Disinfection and sterilization during the empty housing period: Before the arrival of newborn chicks, do a good job of cleaning and disinfection and sterilization. Cleaning: After all poultry are released, sweep manure, bedding, roof dust, etc. out of the farm, and move movable equipment and appliances to designated locations for exposure, cleaning and disinfection. Chinese medicine prevention: mixing a certain amount of Banlangen, mugwort and garlic in the chicken feed can prevent plague to a certain extent. Ventilation: Chicken pens and coops should be kept airy at all times.

2、E. coli disease

Chicken E. coli disease is a general term for a variety of disease types caused by certain pathogenic strains of Escherichia coli, and is a common, frequent, high mortality and damaging disease among chicken farmers. E. coli is a conditionally pathogenic bacterium and is closely related to environmental conditions. In autumn, because of the big temperature difference between day and night, high humidity, E. coli disease is high, chicken farmers should pay special attention to the prevention of E. coli disease. The sick ducklings mainly show depression, loss of appetite or failure, discharge pasty grayish-white feces, swelling of one or both eyelids, some will have neurological symptoms, such as twisting the neck, spinning, etc., and some joints will be swollen and appear lame.

Prevention methods.

(1) Improve the poultry rearing environment At present, poultry farms or poultry farmers in China have recognized that "avian E. coli is an environmental disease". Therefore, we should provide a comfortable and clean breeding environment for free-range poultry, keep the poultry house dry and hygienic, improve ventilation, reduce dust, reduce ammonia content, and regularly disinfect poultry houses, sports fields, utensils, equipment, etc.

(2) Immunization prevention After immunization of breeding birds, it has a certain protection rate and has a certain passive protection effect on the chicks. Detailed immunization methods should be carried out in accordance with the methods indicated on the label of vaccine products. Special emphasis: breeding geese should be immunized with E. coli vaccine once within 2 to 4 weeks before egg laying.

(3) Drug treatment Antibiotics can be used

3. Influenza

Poultry influenza epidemic characteristics: poultry influenza, also known as true chicken fever or European chicken fever, is an acute, highly lethal infectious disease of birds caused by avian influenza virus. Common for poultry influenza, chicken atypical Newcastle disease, infectious bursal, transmissible branch, transmissible throat, chronic respiratory disease, etc.

Epidemic prevention methods.

(a) in poultry farming, strengthen the monitoring of poultry diseases, once the discovery of avian influenza epidemic, animal epidemic prevention departments immediately in accordance with the relevant provisions. Breeding and handling of all relevant personnel to do a good job of protection.

(b) Strengthen the monitoring of persons in close contact with poultry. When flu-like symptoms appear among these personnel, epidemiological investigations should be conducted immediately, and patient specimens should be collected and sent to designated laboratories for testing to further clarify the pathogen, and appropriate preventive and control measures should be taken.

(c) Contact with human avian influenza patients should wear a mask, gloves and isolation clothing. Hands should be washed after contact.
